No approach from Barca for Fabregas - Arsenal

Arsenal have insisted the club have not been contacted by Barcelona with regard to Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish media has been filled with speculation that the Arsenal captain is on the cusp of sealing a return to his boyhood club. It has been claimed Barca and Fabregas are keen to push through a deal before the World Cup finals begin in June, but there has been no word from any of the parties.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is said to be determined to retain the services of the midfielder and chairman Peter Hill-Wood has insisted there has been no approach from Barcelona.
"We have heard nothing at all from Barcelona," Hill-Wood is quoted as saying in the Daily Star.
The Barca propaganda machine is in full swing despite there being no official word on Fabregas from inside Camp Nou, as midfielder Xavi has urged his fellow Spaniard to come home.
"It is criminal for a player of Cesc's quality not to be winning the biggest prizes in football," Xavi said. "He really has no choice but to leave. He is making the right decision and I hope Arsenal fans wish him well."
