Balotelli misses first ever penalty and gets sent off
It was an eventful Sunday for Mario Balotelli to say the least with the striker missing the first penalty of his career before scoring and receiving a red card after the final whistle of AC Milan's 2-1 defeat to Serie A joint leaders Napoli.
Having gone 2-0 down thanks to goals from Miguel Britos and Gonzalo Higuain, Milan were handed the chance to reduce the deficit from the spot after Balotelli was fouled in the area.

Balotelli has never failed to convert any of his previous 21 penalties in official matches but saw his remarkable run halted when Pepe Reina stooped low to save the Italian's effort to his right just after the hour mark.
There was hardly a dull moment for Balotelli - nicknamed 'Super Mario' - with the striker receiving a booking, striking the crossbar from 25 yards and seeing another penalty appeal waved away before scoring an exquisite injury-time goal to give Milan hope.
Not content with his evening's efforts, Balotelli then picked up a second yellow card for arguing with the referee after the final whistle.
Milan, who hadn't lost to Milan at San Siro since April 1986, suffered their first home defeat since November, the result leaving them with just four points from four games.
