Arsenal star Mesut Ozil limped off injured from Germany's thrilling 5-3 victory over Sweden in World Cup qualifying, raising doubts over whether he will be fit for the return of Premier League action this weekend.

The midfielder picked up the knock in a clash with less than 10 minutes of the match remaining, and was replaced by Julian Draxler. He immediately went down the tunnel for treatment, which will give Arsene Wenger pause for thought ahead of Arsenal's match against Norwich at the Emirates on Saturday.

It was an eventful game in Solna, with Sweden racing into a two-goal lead before Ozil himself started Germany's fightback with their first goal then an assist for Mario Gotze's equaliser. Chelsea striker Andre Schurrle then scored all three of Germany's other goals.
