Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed Mesut Ozil will have an assessment on Friday to determine whether he will play a part in the Premier League tie against Norwich.

The record £42.5 million summer-signing from Real Madrid was taken off for Germany on Tuesday night after limping off with a knee problem.

But Wenger says the injury is not as bad as first feared.

"He is alright. He came back with a knock on the knee but it was just a kick. We'll have a test tomorrow to see if he is fit enough for Saturday or not. When you have not played, there is always a little doubt but not a major one," Wenger said.

Bacary Sagna has been out with a hamstring injury, and Santi Cazorla has also missed several games, but Wenger says both may feature.

"Sagna is 80% fit and he will have a test. Cazorla is available in training but he is not match-fit. It is just about competitiveness with him. There is a possibility both are in the squad for Saturday. I have not decided whether they will start or not," he said.

Theo Walcott, who underwent minor abdominal surgery last month, is only two weeks away from returning to the side, Wenger also revealed.
