Capello confident over Barry

Fabio Capello has spoken of his confidence that Gareth Barry will be passed fit to secure a place in England's final 23 for the World Cup.
Barry damaged his ankle in early May and has been working on his rehabilitation in a bid to prove his fitness. A scan on Tuesday failed to provide a firm answer on whether he would be fit to travel to South Africa and he is set to have a further scan early next week.
The trip to the specialist next week is likely to lead to a firm decision on the midfielder's chances, but Capello is optimistic that a player who is vital to his plans will be passed fit.
"Yes we analysed his ankle two days ago and he is fine; his recovery time is shorter than we thought," Capello told Sky Sports Italia. "We are going to decide next week. We are very confident."
Wayne Rooney has been nursing niggling problems in recent weeks, but Capello has insisted the striker is 100 per cent.
"As for Rooney, he's a very important player and he will be in South Africa," Capello said "But he's not more important than the team. He's okay at the moment - he's recovered and he's 100%."
