Jol rules out Zaha Fulham loan
Martin Jol says he will not make a loan move for Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha, despite speculation that Fulham were one of the clubs interested in the young winger.
Zaha has so far been unable to make an impact at Old Trafford, and is known to be seeking a temporary move to keep up his progress.
Jol, however, denied he is interested due to the number of options he has in the wide positions - but expressed some surprise at the player's situation given his apparent form in the summer friendlies.
"No," the Fulham manager said when asked of any bid. "He did very well actually in pre-season so there was no reason to make an enquiry about him. I feel that, on the flank, we are OK. We've got five or six... a few options.
"I told [Ashkan Dejagah] a couple of weeks ago, 'I want you to be the number-one' but of course I want Duffers [Damien Duff] to be the number one, I want Bryan [Ruiz] to be the number one."
