Manchester City target £40m Pogba
Juventus starlet Paul Pogba is top of Manchester City's January transfer window shopping list.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Italian giants from Manchester United in 2012 after a contract dispute, has become one of the hottest properties in European football thanks to a series of dazzling displays for the Turin club.
And according to The Sun, Manuel Pellegrini is preparing to tempt Juventus president Andrea Agnelli with a £40 million bid.
However, City could face opposition from Premier League rivals Chelsea, with Jose Mourinho also reported to be a fan of the French midfielder.
But City believe they have the upper hand, as Patrick Vieira - head of the club's Elite Development Squad - is a former idol and mentor to compatriot Pogba.
