England to host Denmark in March friendly

The Football Association has announced that England will face Denmark in a friendly at Wembley Stadium ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

England, who confirmed their place in Brazil with a 2-0 home win over Poland in their final qualifier, will host Denmark on March 5.

Denmark will play no part in the World Cup next summer after having missed out on the playoffs as the worst runners-up in UEFA qualification.

The FA had already announced that England will play friendlies against Chile and Germany in November this year.
