Torres and Schurrle start ahead of Eto'o

Edin Hazard and Oscar will play behind Fernando Torres and Andre Schurrle, who gets the nod ahead of Samuel Eto'o, in an explosive frontline for the Blues in their Champions League showdown with Schalke.

Gary Cahill has been chosen to partner John Terry in the centre of Chelsea's defence - with David Luiz dropping to the bench after a high-profile gaffe in Saturday's match with Cardiff.

Former Portsmouth and Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng starts for the hosts.
