UEFA charges Ajax over fan violence
Ajax is facing UEFA sanctions after fans ripped out and threw seats during their team's 2-1 loss at Celtic in the Champions League.
UEFA says the Dutch champions have been charged with "crowd disturbances and throwing of objects." The disciplinary case will be judged on November 21.
Scottish media reported that a small group of Ajax fans confronted police and stewards at Celtic Park on Tuesday.
One steward was reportedly injured by a plastic chair thrown from the Ajax section.
