Mario Balotelli's agent says the AC Milan striker could reunite with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, claiming the two controversial characters have put past indiscretions behind them.

Balotelli played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, and is back in his homeland after a stint with Manchester City in the Premier League.

The Italian's representative, Mino Raiola, says a reunion could occur in the near future as the Blues look to bolster their attacking stocks.

"Balotelli and Mourinho could be reunited because they know each other and they didn't leave each other with hate," Raiola told The Sun.

"There was a not very nice incident between them, but they parted company on good terms. They have remained in contact and there is mutual respect.

"I know Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani will not agree, but Mario is a great striker that is for certain, and he could perhaps be that at Chelsea."

The comments come after Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri stated Balotelli would not be leaving the club in the foreseeable future, despite speculation in Italy suggesting otherwise.
