Chelsea sign 18-year-old attacker
Chelsea have signed Bertrand Traore on a four-and-a-half year contract.
Traore, 18, was taken on Chelsea's preseason tour of Asia where he impressed the club's coaches, playing in all three games and scoring in games against Malaysian and Indonesian select sides.
His form prompted the club to keep him on trial until his 18th birthday when he became eligible for a professional contract, subject to work permit approval.
The attacking midfielder is already a full Burkina Faso international with 10 caps, having made his debut aged just 15, and made one substitute appearance at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
In 2011 he helped his nation win the Africa U17s championship.
