I'll slap Mourinho if he jumps into crowd - Pardew
Alan Pardew has told Jose Mourinho he will get a slap if the Chelsea boss tries any of his infamous touchline antics on Saturday.
Mourinho, not shy of an exuberant celebration, was forced to apologise last weekend after jumping into the crowd when Fernando Torres snatched a last-minute winner against Manchester City.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini refused to shake Mourinho's hand, but Pardew has joked that the Portuguese won't get off so lightly at St James' Park.
"He doesn't want to be jumping round me because I'll give him a slap," Pardew said. "I'm bigger than him and he knows that. He can jump around in the crowd or whatever he does.
"If you're a football person and you can't love what he's about, then you can't love the game or what he does. He makes me laugh."
Pardew has his own reputation when it comes to celebrating with fans. The Magpies manager leapt into the crowd when Papiss Cisse scored an injury-time winner against Fulham in April - a result Pardew saw as vital in the club's fight against relegation.
"I've had a couple of occasions in the past where I've jumped in the crowd. I've got my own history with that so I don't have a problem with it," Pardew added, before joking: "'I did check my pockets in case one of them wasn't a Newcastle fan, but fortunately my money was still there."
