Hart dropping confirmed by Manchester City
The much-rumoured dropping of Joe Hart from the Manchester City team for their Premier League match against Norwich City at the Etihad has been confirmed.
The confirmed City line-up has Costel Pantilimon in goal, with Hart having to settle for a place on the bench after a prolonged dip in form forced Manuel Pellegrini to reconsider the goalkeeping position.
Pellegrini had refused to confirm in his press conference on Friday that Hart would be dropped, although widespread reports followed that Pantilimon was in line for the start.
