- Fulham 1-3 Manchester United
United victory marred by injury worries
David Moyes has confirmed that all three of Manchester United's half time substitutions during their win over Fulham were made because of injuries.
United enjoyed a 3-1 win at Craven Cottage on Saturday but their win was marred after Moyes was forced to replace Rafael, Tom Cleverley and Jonny Evans at the interval.
During his post-match interviews, Moyes stated all three of his players were stricken with injury in the first half.
"Jonny Evans' back seized up and Rafael had rolled over on his ankle. Tom Cleverley had got double vision," Moyes told Sky Sports.
"So we ended up having to make three changes at half time. It never helps your continuity when you go back out for the second half. We didn't play well second half but nevertheless, we were always worthy of our victory."
