Ibrahimovic mocked my moustache - Kljestan
Sascha Kljestan has told the Belgian media that Zlatan Ibrahimovic insulted him during Anderlecht's Champions League 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Kljestan, 28, played his part as the Belgian club regained a degree of pride having been soundly beaten 5-0 by an Ibrahimovic-inspired PSG barely two weeks earlier.
The Swedish hitman, 32, grabbed four goals on that night in Brussels, but frustrated by his opponents at the Parc des Princes, he attempted to gain the upper hand by verbally abusing the Anderlecht players.
"After a perfectly normal challenge, Ibrahimovic turned to me and provoked me, making a joke about my moustache," Kljestan told Het Nieuwsblad.
"He said, 'That really is terrible'. I responded by telling him he should think about his nose."
Kljestan's response, highlighting Ibrahimovic's angular features, mimicked that of Joey Barton during a game against PSG while the English midfielder was on loan at Marseille last season.
Following a clash between the pair, words were exchanged before Barton, 31, was caught on camera making fun of Ibrahimovic's nose.
In October last year, the former Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan forward was called "arrogant, dirty and childish" by Faroe Islands captain Frodi Benjaminsen, who told the Expressen newspaper Ibrahimovic had called his team "a bunch of fishermen".
