A Ugandan man has reportedly lost his home after making a hugely risky bet on his beloved Arsenal beating Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.

According to Uganda's The Observer newpaper, Henry Dhabasani staked his two-room house in a bet with friend Rashid Yiga, who in turn staked his wife and his Toyota Premio car that David Moyes' side would emerge victorious in the Premier League clash.

The bet was put in writing, with local leaders and fans witnessing the deed in Iganga, in eastern Uganda.

Dhabasani allegedly fainted at the end of the match, which Arsenal lost 1-0, and must now find a new home for his three wives and five children after Yiga and several United fans stormed his property and kicked him and his family out at the final whistle.
