Wolves sign Van Damme from Anderlecht

Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Belgium international Jelle van Damme from Anderlecht, the club have confirmed.
Van Damme joins for a fee of approximately £2.5 million and has signed a three-year contract at Molineux.
The left-sided defender, who can play at full-back or at centre-back, is looking forward to the challenge of Premier League football.
"I came to the last game of the season against Sunderland and you can only be excited about joining Wolves after experiencing that," the 26-year-old said.
"What am I looking forward to about the Premier League? Everything. England is so much about football, you see with the people and the supporters just how much it means to them and I am really looking forward to it.
"It's great to have everything sorted out at last."
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey, told the Express and Star: "Jelle has been impressive to deal with from the start. He's intelligent, a leader of men, a strong character. I suspect he will be a big, strong character in the dressing room who will impress his new team-mates.
"It is important to us, as we have made clear, that we do not just sign good players but the right sort of characters too. I am convinced Jelle fits the bill precisely."
A player on his way out of Molineux is Chris Iwelumo, the Scotland striker has been snapped up on a free transfer by Burnley.
