Toure: City will regret letting me go
Kolo Toure has hit back at former club Manchester City, telling the Sun his old employers must be "kicking themselves" for letting him leave on a free.
Toure joined current club Liverpool after leaving the Etihad when his contract expired in the summer. The defender had spent four years at City.
However, the 32-year-old believes City made a mistake in letting him leave and is adamant he will return to haunt them.
"I was better than certain players at Manchester City but I was left on the bench," Toure told the Sun. "Before I left the club, I told the people in charge that they would regret letting me go.
"Now I am at Liverpool - and I am sure that City must be kicking themselves when they see how I am performing."
