Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have formed the best partnership in the Premier League.

Dubbed 'SAS', Suarez and Sturridge have scored a total of 20 goals between them for Liverpool this season, and the Merseyside outfit are second in the table and four points off leaders Arsenal following a bright start to their campaign.

And Mignolet, who made the switch to Anfield from Sunderland in the summer, hopes the front two can keep producing the goods for the entire season.

"I come across them every day in training and I don't think there is a better partnership than the two of them," the Belgium international told Sky Sports News.

"They can produce a lot of goals and hopefully they can keep doing that."

Both strikers were on the scoresheet in the 3-3 Merseyside derby draw with Everton on Saturday, with Sturridge coming off the bench to grab a point with minutes remaining, to which Mignolet said: "We know what Daniel can do for us, he can score goals. He came on at the weekend and luckily he was there to equalise."

Mignolet also revealed that he and his team-mates are not getting carried away with the start they have made, and was coy on his club's chances of lifting the Premier League.

"We just take games as they come and try to focus on the next game in hand," he said.

"We try to make sure we get three points there, then do the same the next week. The season is still long and, from now until February, there are a lot of games to be played.

"Last season, I think it was February, March when everybody knew the championship was going to be decided between Manchester City and Manchester United. So we just have to focus on ourselves and make sure that, in this time, we get as many points as we can."
