Chelsea consider loan move for Coentrao
Jose Mourinho is considering bringing Fabio Coentrao to Chelsea on loan during the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
Coentrao played under Mourinho at Real Madrid, and the report suggests that left-back Ashley Cole's place in the side could be in doubt as the England international has been suffering from a rib injury for two months.
Coentrao almost signed for Manchester United during the summer transfer window on deadline day from Madrid, and the Daily Mail says that a move to bring the Portuguese to Stamford Bridge could turn into a permanent one.
Cole's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and Mourinho is reportedly not keen on Ryan Bertrand filling in at left-back for Cole.
