Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he will not make any changes to his strikeforce in January - and issued a small rebuke to the outspoken Romelu Lukaku.

There has been much recent speculation about both Porto's Jackson Martinez and Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski being mooted as potential signings, with the form of on-loan Lukaku at Everton putting further focus on the fact Chelsea's frontline hasn't yet fully fired.

Mourinho had a slight rebuke for Lukaku, however, ahead of a forthcoming BBC interview in which the forward revealed he has not spoken to the Chelsea manager in two months, the footage of which will go out on Saturday. But Mourinho was asked about the comments in his Friday press conference, as he also asserted that he is happy to make do with his current frontline.

"It's not true what I read a couple of days ago, that the agent [of Martinez] was in London meeting with me or with Chelsea directors. It's not true at all. In the January market we're not going to buy any striker, so we will go through to the end of the season with Fernando, Samuel and Demba. Nobody goes in. Nobody goes out," Mourino said.

Lukaku will also stay at Everton until May, and not without an element of criticism to consider from his Chelsea manager.

"Romelu likes to speak. He's a young boy who likes to speak. But the only thing he didn't say is why he went to Everton on loan. That's the only thing he never says. And my last contact with him was to tell him exactly that. Why do you never say why you are not here? So it's something he should [talk about] because he likes to speak. It's something he should say, the reason why he's not with Chelsea and is in Everton."

Mourinho also dismissed reports of a bid for his former Real Madrid left-back, Fabio Coentrao. "No. No. I don't want Portuguese players. I always had them but, at this moment, it's enough. I don't have them now. Only Hilario, the remaining one. But we don't need. We don't need," he said.
