Robin van Persie is in line to return from injury for Manchester United against Everton at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, David Moyes has confirmed.

The striker has not featured due to a groin problem since United's 1-0 home win over league leaders Arsenal on November 10. He travelled to White Hart Lane for the club's 2-2 draw with Tottenham, though Moyes did not name him in his squad.

"Robin is okay," Moyes told reporters at his pre-match press conference. "He has a chance of playing."

United have dropped four points out of a possible six since that victory over Arsenal, which has left them nine points off the pace in the Premier League, either side of a thumping 5-0 win in the Champions League at Bayer Leverkusen.

Moyes' side are 12 games unbeaten in all competitions, however, but the United manager is keen to turn draws into victories.

"The job is to keep it going, keep winning and keep on a good run of form," Moyes added. "We've done that but as I've repeated myself many times we let in a late goal at Cardiff which turned what would have been a really good week into one that wasn't quite as good as we would have liked. But we still drew two games and won one last week. We'd like that to be a better ratio but nevertheless it's not a bad one either."
