Luis Suarez will wear the captain's armband for Liverpool in their Premier League clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

The Uruguayan has scored 15 goals in 11 appearances for Liverpool this season despite starting his campaign late, after serving a ban for biting the arm of Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic last season.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas makes two changes to the side that defeated Sunderland last week, with Sandro replacing Lewis Holtby and Roberto Soldado, who struck a hat-trick in the Europa League on Thursday night, coming in for Jermain Defoe.

Tottenham: Lloris, Walker, Capoue, Dawson, Naughton, Paulinho, Sandro, Lennon, Dembele, Chadli, Soldado.

Substitutes: Friedel, Fryers, Holtby, Lamela, Townsend, Sigurdsson, Defoe.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Flanagan, Sakho, Skrtel, Johnson, Allen, Lucas, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez.

Substitutes: Jones, Kelly, Agger, Toure, Moses, Aspas, Alberto.
