Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says that he wants to build a dynasty and see his current side dominate the English game for the next decade, while there is no one better to lead them than him.

Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge this summer having led the Blues to their first championship in 50 years in 2005, and defended the title a year later, while he also won the FA Cup and two League Cups during his time in London.

Having taken charge from June 2004 to September 2007, when he left for Real Madrid, the team he built formed the bulk of the side which won the long-coveted Champions League in 2012 under Roberto Di Matteo.

Now back at the helm, Mourinho is keen to stay put and end the chaotic managerial history under owner Roman Abramovich by bringing more success.

"In football nobody is untouchable, but I will not be looking over my shoulder, because I know for which reason I came, I know what kind of job I was asked to do," he said.

"And to prepare this Chelsea 'new' team - that we expect is Chelsea's new team for about a decade; the same way the other team was a Chelsea team for almost a decade - I don't think Chelsea can have a better manager than I am.

"I think I'm the right person to do the job and a bad result on Monday [at Arsenal] or a bad result on Friday, or Wednesday, doesn't change that perspective."

Indeed, Mourinho believes in his second season in charge, Chelsea will be vastly improved.

"Next year Chelsea will have a phenomenal team," he added. "Between the work we are doing and evolution of the players and a couple of clinical signings - two clinical players to complete the puzzle you are building - I think Chelsea next season will have a very good team."
