Milner misses England training session but Barry returns

James Milner's chances of starting England's first World Cup game on Saturday have diminished significantly after he sat out training on Tuesday with a temperature.
The Aston Villa midfielder, who is a candidate to come into the team in the continued absence of Gareth Barry, was the only member of the 23-man party not to train.
Barry conceded on Monday that he will not play in the Group C opener against the USA, although he was able to participate in his first full training session since joining the group in South Africa.
David James did not feature in England's final warm-up game - a comfortable 3-0 win over Platinum Stars - due to a knee complaint, but he was able to train as he bids to claim a starting berth ahead of rivals Robert Green and Joe Hart.
