Mesut Ozil returns to the Arsenal bench while Theo Walcott starts up front in their FA Cup clash against Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium with Olivier Giroud absent through illness.
Serge Gnabry is also handed a place in the starting line-up, while Lukasz Fabianski deputises in goal.
Spurs hand a start to 19-year-old midfielder Nabil Bentaleb, replacing Etienne Capoue, while the rest of the team is unchanged from the side that beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in midweek.
