Pellegrini happy to play again

Sergio Aguero could make a comeback for Manchester City earlier than expected after the striker returned to training, according to The Sun.

Aguero has been sidelined with a calf injury since sustaining the problem during City's 6-3 victory over Arsenal at the Etihad in mid-December.

It had been initially feared that Aguero could miss the glamour Champions League last 16 tie against Barcelona in February.

However, City have been boosted by the news that their top scorer with 19 goals could be back for their clash against Cardiff on January 18.

The Sun quotes City boss Manuel Pellegrini as saying: "Sergio is working normally but I think he has at least one or two weeks more to go - probably two."
