Fulham put their disappointing Premier League form behind them to advance to the FA Cup fourth round after a convincing 3-0 win over Norwich at Craven Cottage.

Norwich started strongly with Nathan Redmond wasting a one-on-one chance within the opening exchanges before Robert Snodgrass rattled the woodwork with a super long range effort.

However, the home side soon settled and were in front just after the 15-minute mark when Darren Bent coolly converted Pajtim Kasami's cross.

Ashkan Dejagah doubled the lead shortly before the break as Norwich's defence crumbled under pressure; Alex Kacaniklic was allowed to run through and square the ball to Dejagah, who blasted the ball into the roof of the net.

There was no hint of a response from Chris Hughton's side and Steve Sidwell completed victory with a fine header in the 68th minute. Fulham now travel to Sheffield United in the fourth round.

Non-league Kidderminster enjoyed a famous night at League One Peterborough United, coming through 3-2 winners to set up a fourth round tie with Sunderland.

Tommy Rowe gave the home side an early lead, but Michael Gash restored parity shortly after half time with a neat header. Jack Byrne completed the turnaround five minutes later with an impressive left-footed finish but Britt Assombalonga converted from the spot to put Posh level.

However, Joe Lolley's effort from outside the box restored the away side's advantage and they held firm for the win to remain the lowest-ranked team left in the competition.

Fellow Conference side Macclesfield could not repeat the same at Sheffield Wednesday as the home side closed out with a 4-1 victory at Hillsborough.

Wednesday were ahead within three minutes as Chris Maguire found the net with a right-footed effort from outside the box. However, Scott Boden scored from the penalty spot after Joe Mattock had been penalised for handball shortly into the second half.

Jacques Maghoma put Wednesday back in front with 13 minutes to go before Jermaine Johnson and Miguel Ángel Llera completed the rout.

Holders Wigan survived a scare at MK Dons as they came through extra time to enjoy a 3-1 victory.

Luke Chadwick put the hosts ahead in the ninth minute before Nick Powell spared the away side's blushes with a 79th minute equaliser to send the tie into a further 30 minutes.

Powell scored virtually from the restart to give Wigan the lead and Marc-Antoine Fortuné wrapped up the win with a smart finish late on.

Bournemouth beat Burton 4-1 to set up a fourth round tie with Liverpool, while Charlton and Oxford will play out a replay following a 2-2 draw at the Valley.

Paul Robinson and a Chris Burke double helped Birmingham overcome Burton Albion 3-0 at St Andrews, while Jennison Myrie-Williams scored the vital fifth goal to send Port Vale through in after a 3-2 thriller at Plymouth.

Preston's Joe Garner bagged a hat-trick to knock Ipswich out at the third round stage following a dramatic 3-2 victory at Deepdale, whereas Watford cruised to a 2-0 win over Bristol City thanks to strikes from Marco Davide Faraoni and Lewis McGugan.
