David Moyes continued his scouting mission across Europe by taking in Paris Saint-Germain's French League Cup victory over Bordeaux, as he looks to inject fresh life into his Manchester United squad in the January transfer window.

Moyes was watching his second match in 48 hours, having also been present for Cagliari's clash with Juventus on Sunday.

It is believed Moyes was scouting Juventus midfielders Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal in Italy, though it is unsure who he was there to watch in south-west France.

However Phil Neville was also in attendance at Getafe's home match to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Sunday to look at the visitors' highly-rated teenager Saul Niguez, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Moyes failed to land a number a high-profile targets in the summer, with Marouane Fellaini his only purchase at £27.5 million.

United sit seventh in the Premier League table, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal and five points off the Champions League places.
