Moyes denies Zaha bust-up

David Moyes has denied rumours of a bust-up with Wilfried Zaha at Manchester United - but has informed him he can't yet go out on loan.

Moyes had a conversation with Zaha on the training field at Carrington on Friday, telling him he will only be allowed to leave the club in the transfer window if fellow wingers Nani and Ashley Young regain full fitness, stressing that the player's obligations were to United.

Ahead of Sunday's match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Moyes said: "Wilfried Zaha has a chance.

"I have told him that if I can't get him the games I will put him out on loan.

"But he can't go out while we have Ashley and Nani injured and I would be surprised if anyone thought that was a possibility."

Cardiff have been linked with a loan move for Zaha, who has played just 167 minutes under Moyes this season, having been signed by Sir Alex Ferguson for £15 million last January before going back on loan to Crystal Palace for the remainder of the campaign.

When asked if he had an argument with Zaha on Friday, Moyes said: "I had a 30 seconds chat on the training pitch today and we were talking away. So there was nothing like that.

"I have indicated to the boy [that he can go on loan when others get fit]. But he is a Manchester United player, that's what he is."
