The Daily Mail reports that Kroenke met chief executive Ivan Gazidis, and is set to attend the club's next board meeting, at which Wenger's new deal is set to be top of the agenda, with the contract believed to be worth around £24 million.
Wenger's current contract expires in the summer, and he hinted during his press conference last Friday that he is close to penning an extension by saying: "There is a point where you have to decide and there is a point where you have to make your decision public".
Arsenal maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League following a 2-0 victory over Fulham, and majority shareholder Kroenke was in attendance at the Emirates on Saturday having flown in from his home in Colorado.
