Cazorla apologises for Spurs tweet
Santi Cazorla has apologised for any offence caused after a picture circulated on Twitter of him holding a sign insulting club rivals Tottenham.
The controversy started due to a snap of Cazorla holding a sign with a French fan and former Arsenal player Robert Pires which read: "What do we think of Tottenham? S***. And what do we think s***? Tottenham."
The picture was posted on Twitter and was retweeted more than 1,000 times.
According to the Telegraph Arsenal were quick to warn the Spaniard of getting caught out again - although Cazorla insists he was unaware of what was written on the sign.
This is not the first time this season an Arsenal player has been in hot water for publicly mocking Tottenham fans - Theo Walcott gestured '2-0' to the Spurs fans as he was carried off during the north London derby, while Wojciech Szczesny posted a gloating message on Facebook during the club's 6-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad.
