Norwich midfielder Wes Hoolahan could be facing disciplinary action from his club after unleashing a stunning attack on the Canaries.

He has been the subject of a failed £1 million transfer bid this month from Aston Villa, and despite Hoolahan handing in a transfer request, Chris Hughton seems determined to hold onto the player.

The Mirror reports that when Hoolahan was asked by a television crew at the club's Colney training ground whether he would be clearing his locker out, he replied: "I hope so. This is a f****** s***house club."

Hughton did not confirm whether Hoolahan would be up for selection for the Canaries' vital weekend clash with Cardiff: "I'm not aware of that, so it's something I will have to investigate.

"I will decide later whether or not he will be in the squad for Saturday's game at Cardiff. This is an unsettling time for players in his situation. But it's not the first time we have had to deal with an unsettled player and it won't be the last.

"Whether or not a player leaves depends on if the club wants to keep him, and at the moment Wes Hoolahan is very much a Norwich player."

Hoolahan arrived at Carrow Road from Blackpool in 2008, and has made 184 appearances for the Canaries.
