FIFA are set to discuss the possibility of introducing some form of in-game video replay system to aid referees in meetings by its rule-making panel next month.

The use of technology has been long ruled out by FIFA president Sepp Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini, though it looks like there has been progress on the issue.

FIFA says no decision will be made on the March 1 meeting but the issue will be discussed by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) group.

Reportedly also on the agenda for discussion are 'sin bins' in amateur football and a 'triple punishment' of a penalty kick, red card and suspension for some offenses.

IFAB may also tighten rules on players revealing personal messages on undershirts.
