United announce pre-season tour of US
Manchester United have announced that they will be touring the United States this summer as they prepare for the 2014-15 season.
The Premier League champions, who have not played in the US since 2011, are yet to announce how many games they will play or the venues but have confirmed they intend to visit "a number of destinations".

However, United's schedule will depend on how they fare in the rest of the season with the possibility that, if they do not finish in the top four of the league, they may have to return to England because of Europa League qualifiers.
Managing director Richard Arnold said: "I'm delighted to announce that the team will be returning to the USA for our 2014 Tour.
"Since the club's last visit in 2011, the appeal of football in America has grown rapidly.
"Manchester United has more than eight million followers in the United States and the 2014 tour presents an exciting opportunity for these fans to get up close to the club they love."
United will reportedly take part in a friendly tournament, to be called the International Champions Cup, along with several other major European clubs.
Dates published already in the USA, although not definite, suggest they will play Real Madrid in Denver, Colorado, on July 26 and again in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on August 2.
