David Beckham has revealed he is jealous of his former Manchester United team-mates who are part of the coaching staff at Old Trafford.

Beckham, who enjoyed over a decade at United, left the club in 2003 to sign for Real Madrid, and continues to remain a fan of his former club by keeping their best interests at heart.

And speaking to MUTV and Inside United, Beckham has admitted feelings of jealousy towards former team-mates, with Ryan Giggs and Phil Neville alongside David Moyes with the first team, and Nicky Butt coaching the Under-21s with assistance from Paul Scholes.

"It does a little bit," Beckham replied on whether he felt jealous of the players who have landed roles with United. "When my eldest son came up here to train for a week, I saw Butty training the U21s, Phil with the first team and Scholesy [Scholes] with Butty [Butt].

"It's great to see they are still part of the club and training the young kids. There is nothing better than to have players like that, who you've seen being successful over the years, training the young kids. That's what Manchester United do," he added.
