West Ham could allow midfielder Ravel Morrison to join Championship side Queens Park Rangers on loan, the Press Association reports.

Although the transfer window for Premier League clubs is now closed, temporary deals can still be done in the lower divisions.

Morrison has not featured for Sam Allardyce's side since the 3-0 home defeat by Manchester City in the League Cup semi-final on January 21 following a recent groin injury. There had earlier been a report - denied by the club - that Morrison had gone on strike.

QPR are keen on Morrison - who had interested Fulham during the transfer window - as manager Harry Redknapp looks to push for automatic promotion, and talks have taken place over the possibility of a short-term move.

Sky Sports reports that the deal is likely to go through next Friday to ensure Morrison's availability for the play-offs.
