Debuchy going nowhere - Pardew
Alan Pardew has said he has "no worries" about Mathieu Debuchy's Newcastle future following speculation over a summer move.
Debuchy was quoted by French radio station RMC as saying his future is uncertain beyond this season.
But Pardew has insisted the right-back, who signed for Newcastle from Lille in January 2013, is set to stay at St James' Park.
"I don't think the quotes are accurate, something can get lost in translation," Pardew told Sky Sports.
"I have spoken to him, he is very happy at the club, he signed for four years and he is an important player who has done well and improved as he has gone along.
"I have no worries about those comments. You do never know in football. We are looking to change and strengthen in a lot of positions next year but that won't be one of them."
