Puncheon charged by FA over Warnock comments
Crystal Palace have confirmed Jason Puncheon has been charged by the FA over comments the winger made on Twitter about Neil Warnock.
Puncheon used the social networking site to respond to Warnock's criticisms of the attacker's penalty miss in Palace's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham in January.
A statement on the FA's official website read: "Crystal Palace's Jason Puncheon has been charged by The FA for Twitter comments he made in relation to Neil Warnock.
"It is alleged that in posting these comments, Puncheon failed to act in the best interests of the game, and/or acted in a manner which was improper, and/or used abusive and/or insulting words in contravention of FA Rule E3[1]."
Puncheon now has until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.
