Ozil misses out for Arsenal as Eto'o does not make Chelsea squad

Mesut Ozil has not been selected by manager Arsene Wenger for Arsenal's trip to Stoke, while Samuel Eto'o is not included in the Chelsea squad to face Fulham.

Ozil, who was dropped for the win against Sunderland last weekend after struggling for form in recent weeks, was given extra time off by Wenger after his costly penalty miss against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

But Wenger, who confirmed the club's £42.5 million record signing would return to the team, only makes the bench in the visit to Stoke.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has not included Eto'o in the Chelsea matchday squad for the West London derby against Fulham.

Mourinho's comments about Eto'o's age and saying he had no strikers were leaked by a reporter during the week, and Eto'o claimed there was no rift between himself and the manager. However, he misses out as Chelsea look to maintain top spot in the Premier League.
