Joel Campbell hoping to re-ignite Arsenal career

Joel Campbell is ready to give everything for Arsenal if he gets the opportunity to play for the club once his loan deal at Olympiakos comes to an end.

Campbell was signed by Arsenal in 2011, but has not played for the Gunners after they could not obtain a work permit for the Costa Rican to play in England.

Currently at Olympiakos, the fourth club he has been out on loan to, Campbell has made the headlines for his goal against Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League.

But the 21-year-old is only concentrating on playing, and is not sure whether he will be returning to his parent club come the end of the season.

"I do nothing more than focus on playing for the team, whether Olympiakos, whether in Real Betis, whether in Orien," Campbell said.

"For me it has been an experience that has made me grow as a player. It's not the time to say whether I will play at Arsenal or not.

"But, if I get that chance to play there, I will do as I have always done in my life, fight and believe in myself. I know I have the qualities to be where I want but I have to improve a lot. I have to work day by day so I can be there."
