Fernando Torres is out of Chelsea's Premier League match with Tottenham after injuring himself in the warm-up, but Eden Hazard has been passed fit to play.

Mourinho had previoulsy stated Samuel Eto'o had been more impressive at home throughout the season but decided to keep the striker on the bench for the visit of Tim Sherwood's side. However, Mourinho had to call on Eto'o after Torres was injured during his pre-match preparations. Mohamed Salah took up place on the bench.

Hazard picked up a knock on international duty for Belgium midweek but has recovered to start for Mourinho's side.

Andre Schurrle, who scored a hat-trick in last weekend's win at Fulham, is given a place in the starting XI while Oscar takes place as a substitute.

Younes Kaboul has passed fit to play at Stamford Bridge but Kyle Walker starts despite having withdrawn from England's squad to face Denmark with a groin injury.

Roberto Soldado has to settle for a place on the bench with Emmanuel Adebayor leading the line for the away side.
