Arsenal fans outnumber Wigan two-to-one at Wembley

Arsenal fans will get nearly twice as many tickets as current holders Wigan for their FA Cup clash at Wembley next month, after the FA confirmed the ticket prices and club allocations for this season's semi-finals.

Arsenal will face Wigan at 5pm on April 12, with the Premier League side receiving an allocation of 42,882. Uwe Rosler's team, who knocked Manchester City out in the previous round, have been allocated 22,807 seats.

Wigan have attracted an average attendance of 15,078 in their Championship home games this season, which is dwarfed by Arsenal's average Premier League gate of 60,016.

A statement on the FA's website confirmed Wigan's allocation "has been mutually agreed between the club and the FA and is based on their supporter numbers at last season's FA Cup semi-final and final, as well as the Community Shield in August."

Hull take on League One side Sheffield United the following day, with the teams receiving 32,011 and 31,796 respectively.

The statement added: "Sheffield United's allocation is slightly smaller due to the West side of the stadium's segregation divide."

Ticket prices have been frozen for a fourth year running, ranging from £60 for Category 1 to £30 for Category 4 - with Arsenal and Sheffield United fans occupying the west side of the stadium, and Wigan and Hull in the east.
