Torres lined up for Inter move
Fernando Torres could be on his way out of Chelsea with Inter Milan watching the striker in action against Galatasaray on Tuesday night.
Inter's sporting director Piero Ausillo was in attendance at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail, having played down a potential move for Torres last week by insisting his wages might be too expensive.
However, new Indonesian owner Erick Thohir has set about rebuilding Inter. While Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has already agreed to join this summer, boss Walter Mazzarri is also keen to boost his attacking options.
Samuel Eto'o was favoured to start up front by Jose Mourinho on Tuesday with Torres, 29, coming off the bench against Galatasaray.
Mourinho has expressed his desire to sign a new striker in the summer on several occasions this season and Torres has just two years left on his Chelsea contract.
Signed for £50 million in January 2011, Torres has failed to reach the heights he hit at Liverpool - where he scored 65 goals in 102 appearances - and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could finally be prepared to cut his losses on the forward.
