Bruce interrupts press conference to watch Rooney goal
Former Manchester United captain Steve Bruce could not help but be awed by Wayne Rooney's goal from nearly the halfway line on Saturday.
Bruce was answering questions from the media following Hull's 2-0 win over West Brom at the KC Stadium on Saturday, with Manchester United's match against West Ham in progress.

Bruce's eye was caught by a screen at the back of the room showing the game at Upton Park and he could not hide his astonishment at Rooney's superb volley from halfway that left West Ham goalkeeper Adrian floundering.
"Whoah, what a goal - you're never going to see anything like it again," said Bruce to reporters. "That's more important than me, wait till you see this. Aw, look at the goalie, he's run the wrong way! Wow, Wazza, jeez."
After watching the goal a couple of times on replay, Bruce returned to the task in hand: "That's better than any of my drivel. Right, Shane Long, what? Sorry?"
Rooney himself jokingly declared his effort better than David Beckham's famous long-range strike against Wimbledon in August 1996. Beckham was a spectator at Upton Park for Manchester United's 2-0 win over West Ham.
