Blanc confirms Ibrahimovic injury

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has admitted Zlatan Ibrahimovic is highly doubtful for his side's Champions League quarter-final return leg at Chelsea next Tuesday.

The striker limped off during PSG's 3-1 win against Jose Mourinho's side on Tuesday after pulling up with a suspected hamstring injury and is expected to be out for more than a fortnight.

After the victory, Blanc confirmed the striker had suffered a muscular problem and stated "it will take some time" for the Swede to recover.

Blanc added: "He has a hamstring problem. It needs to be seen tomorrow. It would not have been reasonable for him to continue."

While Blanc was left sweating on the fitness of his star striker, Jose Mourinho had concerns of his own. The Chelsea boss was fierce in his criticism of Fernando Torres, as well as Chelsea's defence.
