England have risen one place to 11th in the latest FIFA world rankings while Scotland have made the biggest jump by moving up 15 spots to 22nd.

World champions Spain remain top and Germany stay second in April's standing, with Luis Suarez's Uruguay climbing one place to fifth.

Portugal climb to third with Colombia now South America's top-ranked nation after Argentina slid three places.

Argentina are now joint-sixth with this year's World Cup hosts Brazil, who have risen three places.

Switzerland, Italy and Greece complete the top 10, with the latter returning there for the first time since October 2012.

The United States climb to 13th after drawing 2-2 with Mexico in a friendly on April 2. Mexico moved up one place to 19th as a result of that draw.

Ivory Coast, at No.21, lead the African nations, while Iran are the highest-ranked Asian confederation team at No.37.

Australia, at No.59, are the lowest-ranked team at the World Cup, which kicks off in Sao Paulo in June 12.
