Carlos Tevez has sung the praises of Juventus coach Antonio Conte, likening him to his manager at Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Conte still has a long way to go to match Ferguson's achievements with the Red Devils, but with Juve on course for a third straight scudetto, Tevez can already see similarities between the pair, and he has predicted a successful future for the 44-year-old.

"I think he's already on the same level [as Ferguson]," Tevez told Sky Sport. "He's not lacking anything. He shows that in every game and in every competition he's involved in. He's a top, top coach."

Not only could the Bianconeri win a third straight league title for the first time since 1935 this season, they could also crown it all off with the Europa League title. They face Benfica in the semi-finals with Tevez and his strike partner Fernando Llorente both hungry for European glory.

"At the start of the season, I never thought I would be here now playing for the scudetto and the Europa League," added Tevez. "But we are Juventus and we play every competition to win it. We fight for everything, and I'm delighted we're still fighting on two fronts."

For Llorente, winning the Europa League would feel like revenge after narrowly missing out with Athletic Bilbao two seasons ago. "I lost a Europa League final and it still bugs me," he told Tuttosport. "I want to win it to erase that negative memory, and also because it's a difficult title to win. It's longer than the Champions League, even if it doesn't enjoy the same level of prestige.

"It gets more consideration in Spain than it does here in Italy, and I think it warrants it. We could benefit from the final being in Turin, but first we've got to beat Benfica, who are a side with great players."

Sevilla or Valencia would then lie in wait for the Bianconeri.
