Italian clubs tracking Kolarov
Manchester City's Aleksandar Kolarov is wanted by several clubs, according to his agent Dejan Joksimovic.
Kolarov, who joined City in 2010 from Lazio after spending three seasons in Italy, admitted recently he had the chance to leave the Etihad Stadium last summer but claimed he was glad he stayed.
"There are teams that are following him like AC Milan, Juventus, Inter, Monaco and also a few Russian teams are now also willing to pay his wages," Joksimovic told AS Roma Radio.
Serie A high-flyers Roma have decided they cannot afford his wages, with Joksimovic adding: "So for now we do not know anything and there is nothing concrete. I can tell you that Roma are following him but there are problems.
"Firstly he has a contract for £2.9 million (€3.5m) for another year with Manchester City, so it would be difficult because Rome cannot pay these figures."
Kolarov had been second-choice left-back behind Gael Clichy last season but has featured more frequently since Manuel Pellegrini replaced Roberto Mancini as manager and has made 41 appearances in the current campaign.
